I’m a 26yr old Social Work student in Victoria, B.C. and I am passionate about learning how to use technology to communicate messages of social activism and to help educate the public about social issues.

Shaketheshock is a blog about communications and technology, and how this has allowed us to promote social activism. Each week, I will be discussing something new or interesting about how technology has allowed us to communicate, specifically in terms of social activism and spreading the message about causes that I myself believe in. Some of these topics might not sit right with you – and if that’s the case, please comment and tell me a little bit about that!

I will also include posts about communications and technology in general, and if you have any knowledge or interesting facts and would like to share – I would love to hear from you!
